Kaitlyn Kruk
Administration Manager
Kaitlyn Kruk is a passionate Ukrainian Canadian, who has been involved in the Ukrainian community her whole life. Born and raised in Vegreville, Alberta then later relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia. Growing up she attended the Ukrainian bilingual program in school, danced competitively in Ukrainian dance and spent her summers between Ukrainian camps and festivals. Spending summers and holidays on the family farm with her бабуся cooking and sharing stories, are some of her best memories.
Making her home in Vancouver, Kaitlyn attended post secondary, and now works in the Healthcare field, as well as being an instructor and choreographer for Ukrainian dance groups in the Lower Mainland.
In 2017/2018 she had the opportunity to live in Ukraine. There she was able to travel the country, and live in different cities, studying the culture, language, art and dance. This gave her a deeper understanding of the country, its traditions and its history.
Shortly after the full scale invasion, Kaitlyn felt compelled to help, to get involved, be of service, and provide support. In early March 2022, she sought out, and connected with likeminded people who had already begun the process of organizing a non-profit. This organization to support and aid Ukraine, is now today, Ukrainian Patriot.
