The Frontline Starts Here

Your studio has an audience, a community, and a stage.
That’s exactly what Ukraine needs right now.

Four years in, Ukraine is still fighting, still creating, still dancing. That kind of resilience creates a global stage — and your studio is part of how we build it.

Who We Are

Built by a dancer.
Driven by what's possible.

Ukrainian Patriot was founded in 2022 by Lana Nicole Niland — a former professional dancer who saw the war begin and chose to act. What started as emergency aid has grown into a grassroots organisation running regular missions to the frontline: bringing supplies, medical support, and dance to communities who haven’t left. In four years, we’ve reached 100,000s people on the ground. Every one of them because someone decided to move.

Culture and aid aren’t separate things.

How It Works

Three steps.
One commitment.

01

Make your pledge

Tell us you're in

Fill out our pledge form to commit your studio to at least one fundraising event in the next 12 months. That’s the only thing we ask you to promise.

02

Run your event

Choose your format

Workshop, showcase, dance-a-thon, or something entirely your own. We’ll be with you every step of the way — toolkits, stories, and social materials ready to go.

03

Move the funds forward

Impact on the ground

Every dollar raised goes directly to Ukrainian Patriot’s missions — aid, medical support, and dance to communities on and near the frontline.

The commitment

One event. One year. One minimum to clear: $500 raised. Everything beyond that goes further.

Event Ideas

Your stage.
Their story. Real impact.

Every event looks different — because every studio is different. Here’s what’s worked, and what’s possible.

Most distinctive

Bring Ukraine live to your stage

Stage a showcase and we’ll connect you live from Ukraine — a real-time message from the communities your event is supporting. No other fundraiser in the dance world can offer this. Your audience won’t forget it.

Live from Ukraine

A real-time connection
from the frontline
to your stage

Workshop

Drop-in class with donations at the door

Open your studio for a special class — any style, any level. Charge what your community can give. Simple to organise, high on impact.

Endurance

Sponsored dance marathon

Students collect individual sponsorships per hour danced. Higher earning potential than door donations — and every minute counts for something real.

Community

Parent workshop night

Parents pay to take a class taught by their own kids. Emotionally memorable, strongly shared on social, and it brings your whole studio community into the cause.

Gala

End-of-year fundraising showcase

Turn your annual showcase into a ticketed fundraiser. An event you’re already running — now with a purpose that travels far beyond the stage.

Digital

Virtual masterclass

Offer a paid online workshop to your wider community — not just in-studio students. Extends your reach and your impact well beyond your local audience.

Campaign

Social challenge + limited edition merch

Launch a choreography challenge with a donation mechanic — tag, give, nominate. Pair with exclusive merch co-designed with a Ukrainian dance school.

Visibility

Flash mob with a donation link

Take it outside. A public performance with a QR code donation link turns heads, creates shareable content, and brings the cause into unexpected spaces.

Your idea

Something entirely your own

The best event is the one your community is excited about. Tell us what you’re planning — we’ll make it work.

What You Receive

This isn't a transaction.
It's a partnership.

When your studio joins the Frontline Dance Collective, you don’t just raise funds — you join a network of studios, schools, and dancers building something that lasts.

01

A direct line to Ukraine’s dance community Your studio gets connected with dance schools in Ukraine — their stories, their resilience, their work. Not a video. Not a newsletter. A real relationship between your students and theirs.

02

Exclusive online workshops from around the world Access to workshops led by dancers across the globe — new styles, new perspectives, new inspiration for your students and teachers. Available only to Frontline Dance Collective members.

03

Co-design limited edition merchandise Work with us to create exclusive Frontline Dance Collective pieces carrying your studio’s identity — co-designed with Ukrainian dance schools. Merchandise that means something, not just something to sell.

04

Early access to Resilience Camps and cross-border exchanges Frontline Dance Collective members get first access to our Resilience Camps and future programmes connecting studios across borders — before anyone else.

Coming soon

The more your studio raises, the more you unlock. A tiered recognition programme is on its way — rewarding the studios that go furthest for Ukraine.

How It Works

Make your way to the front.

Your studio. Your stage. Your students. Everything you need to dance for Ukraine is already in your hands — all that’s left is to take the first step.

Step 1 — Your pledge

Tell us you’re in

Fill out our pledge form to register your studio. You’re committing to one fundraising event, raising a minimum of $500, within the next 12 months. That’s all it takes to get to the front.

After you submit, we’ll be in touch within 48 hours with everything you need to get started.
