Resilience Camps for Kids

Hope Starts Here
In the face of war, joy is resistance. That’s why we have launched our children’s camp program in 2024—to offer safe healing spaces where kids can just be kids again. Our camps are focused on creative expression, learning, and play. And they’re making an impact.
Last year in Taranivka, Kharkiv oblast, we welcomed over 40 children, ages 3 to 15, for two days of simple joy: Ukrainian dance classes, art as therapy, football games, and even an English-language treasure hunt.
In Obukhivka, Dnipro oblast, we ran a weeklong camp made possible by the generosity of a young girl in the United States. Her $10,000 donation brought dozens of Ukrainian children a week of safety, creativity, and unforgettable memories.
This year, we’re taking our work a step further by hosting camps at our new property—the UP Resilience House—in western Ukraine. This space will allow us to expand programming and welcome even more children, with safety, policies, and procedures already in place.
With 1.5 million Ukrainian children at risk of depression, anxiety, and PTSD (UNICEF, 21 February 2023), these camps are not a luxury. They are a lifeline.
You can be part of this healing. Help us bring light, play, and peace to the next generation—one child at a time.
